Just some pictures from the last couple weeks or so...

Kase & Ty went on a little over night camping trip with one of his friends and his little boys. They took the 4 wheelers and had a so much fun! Kase is still talking about it.

We had our annual Howard Family Reunion this past weekend!

And made a trip to the zoo!!

This is pretty freakin cool.. My dad helped build the ape building years ago and carved his initials into the wall. I had to take a picture of it while we were there.

Happy Summer!!!

We are soooo excited school is out and SUMMER is here! This past Saturday we got to begin our summer by going to LAGOON for Ty's work party. We had lots of fun. The kids are actually big enough to ride lots of the bigger rides. So crazy! I love watching them have so much fun. I tried to make sure to take lots of pictures since I've really been slacking in that department so.. ENJOY :)

(and don't mind the picture of Kase with the beer in it.. I totally took the picture not realizing it was right there but it's kinda funny)

It seems like we have been crazy busy lately. Look for a really good (and long) update to come.. with pictures :) ASAP! Don't give up on me please!!! But this is all I have time for at this second.. & It's the last week of school!! YaY!

Wow.. it's been awhile since i've blogged! But I seriously feel like I need to tonight. I have so much going on in my mind. I'm sure most of you have noticed the amazing tributes on facebook to class members who have passed away over the years.. As i'm going through them all and remembering everyone, (and noticing many I didn't even know passed) I can't help but feel so sad.. and blessed. I've started wondering why?? There are so many people.. women and mothers.. who did so much more and were such better people than I am. Why am I still here and they are gone? Leaving their children and husbands behind..
I'm sure a lot of you are with me when you say sometimes you feel like you take things for granted. Like the fact that you get to see your sweet babies everyday. You get to hold them and hear them tell you how much they love you. From now on, I am not taking anything for granted. I am going to hug my kids more.. read to them when they ask me (every time).. lay with them when they are falling asleep.. play with them outside when they beg.. get them a bandade and kiss it even though I don't see an owee :) Just come to them whenever they say "mommy" and be the best mom to them that I can possibly be.
Anyway, as I was reading about everyone I came across a blog that truly touched me in so many ways. I don't even know this girl and now I feel like I do. Even her amazing family who obviously never let a second go by without thinking about her. It makes me wonder what my family and friends would have to say about me when i'm gone? So it really inspires me to be a better person. You should check it out...

i can't believe it!?!

My little girls are 7 today

i still remember the day i found out i was having twins... so many emotions. i was excited but so scared. i didn't think i could handle 2 babies at once. then when they actually arrived, i knew i couldn't handle it. i struggled at first but once i caught on, everything just came natural. they are some of the best kids anyone could ask for. i love that everyone looks at them and has no idea they are twins anymore. the height difference is crazy! they have each come into their own little personalities too. katelyn is my prissy girlie girl and kassidy is my stubborn tomboy.

i just hope they know how much i love them and how proud i am to be their mommy. even when we butt heads.. like we do sometimes :) they are my best little friends ever and they have taught me so much. i would be lost with out these precious gifts!!! i love you little brats!
