So I've had one of those days from HELL

and I need to vent yet again..
I was relaxing in my bedroom watching Days of our Lives. The kids were playing in the living room watching iCarly. All of the sudden I hear a scream followed by the sound of glass shattering! I so did not want to go see what happened but I knew I had to of course. At first I think it's in the kitchen. Like a glass cup or something? Umm no.. it's in the living room. It's my Scentsy warmer. Broken. Glass and wax all over the fireplace. and mantle. and wall. and in my kid's HAIR. I'm fuming and I just tell the kids to leave and the girl's to go get in the bath and wait for me. I start to clean up the glass and notice I have glass sticking out of my finger. Nice. I pull it out and blood starts gushing out. Its a deep cut and I think I might need stitches. But I just wrapped it up good and put a few bandages on it. I don't dare open it up again just yet. So next I need to go to that bathroom and help the girls get wax out of their hair. Yeah , no such luck. I washed it a couple times. Then dried it and put my straightener through it. I finally tried to call my mom with no answer. So I call my grandma. She tells me to let it dry and try crisco or something. So that's where I'm at right now. I thought I'd get on the internet and see what advice I can find. A website said to use olive oil? Now I'm just debating on which one to try first.. oh and blogging. Only because it calms me down of course. But I better get to getting the wax out now. I really hope we don't need to cut their hair. I think I would cry.

Have I ever mentioned that I love to read? Well I do.. huge book nerd here and very proud. I just want to share my latest and greatest good read. oh, and my girl's favorites too!

Do you remember reading Junie B. Jones? Recently the girl's have fallen in love with her. They have really become quite the readers and I figured it was time to advance from little picture books to some little chapter books. They are doing awesome with them! I'm so proud of my kids.

My new favorite author.. Harlan Coben! He is amazing. I just finished "the woods" by him and I loved it. Read it in a day and a half and I can't wait to start my next one. Still deciding which one though, because they all look so great. He is really good with the suspense and twists. Love him!

random thoughts and vents.. don't mind if i do

I have so much on my mind lately and I desperately need to vent so I'm going to right here, right now

• some people are SO annoying. i hate people who use me. i hate people who only call me when they want or need something from me. i hate people who act like my friend but don't really give a crap about me or my feelings. i'm too nice. even if i don't like you or i'm mad at you, i will still be good to you and care about your feelings. maybe its a weakness but i think it just makes me better. so LISTEN to me now.. if you want to be my friend, then be my friend. 110% or NONE at all. no more in betweens with me. i'm done playing stupid games. i have the best family and i have great friends who know how to act their age. i don't need the annoying selfish ones who can't seem to grow up. so if you want to be my friend only when it's convenient for you then i'll make it simple for you.. just don't even try anymore. i'm better without you.

• i won't go totally into this one but i think most of you would agree with me... our country is in serious trouble. our president is not very smart.

• i love my kids more than anything but i cannot take the fighting anymore. they can't even be touching each other in the car or on the couch without one of them totally losing it! i'm about ready to pull my hair out. how can i just make my kids love each other all the time? is that even possible?

• there is the most annoying noise in my excursion. its under the passengers seat and it drives both Ty and I absolutely crazy. we need to FIX IT!

• my dog will not STOP peeing in my house. i think he might be stupid, seriously! he will walk right in the house after being outside for 10 minutes, look up at me and pee right in front of my freakin face? when are they potty trained and how do you do it?

• my tooth is killing me.. STILL. same tooth that is suppose to be fixed. guess there's an easy answer to this one.. go to the dentist. i know, i know but it didn't seem to help last time and it still hurts.

..I feel so much better now..

Our first ZOO trip of the year was a blast! I don't think we could have picked a better day to go. Although it was a little cold first thing in the morning, the day turned into a beautiful sunny day by 11. The kids and I, my friend, Jamie and her little girl Grace had so much fun! The only thing missing was the hard working husbands..

The zoo was not packed and busy like it always is when we decide to go so that was nice. The animals were out and ready to play and show off. Kase and Grace even got to help feed the tortoises. They were a little nervous at first but definitely brave for going in there.

We are having so much fun with this little guy. He listens good and he has only had one poopie in the house so far.. lots of pee though.. He follows me around everywhere I go but if i'm not around he follows Kase. Aside from chewing on every single thing in this house, he is a pretty good dog. He is soooo adorable and definitely the perfect addition to our family right now!!!

4. Drive all the way up the west coast from bottom to top
5. Read the books I haven't read that are on my bookshelf
6. Donate blood
7. Go on a cruise
8. Get another tattoo
9. Learn to play an instrument
10. Go with or take Ty to a Cowboys game
11. Completely learn sign language
12. Learn to parallel park
13. Start a good savings account
14. Budget money better and stick to it

i love these! my grandpa (their great-grandpa) got these for my girls when they were newborn. i have kept them safe until i thought they were old enough to take care of them. well they are finally wearing them for the first time. they are so beautiful.

i can't believe it but i'm definitely happy about it.
that much closer to spring and play outside everyday weather.

This is the choice my girls get...

They both start this week and offer one free class. So I am taking Katelyn and Kassidy to both of them and letting them decide which they like better. If it were up to me I would put Katelyn in dance and Kassidy in tumbling but I think they are big enough to decide for themselves.
